NanoFrontier Selected for Second Year of Fukushima Tech Create Acceleration Program
Advancing Optimization and Mass Production of Nanoparticle-Dispersed Coolants
NanoFrontier Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Sendai, Miyagi; Representative Director: Seiya Inoue; hereinafter “NanoFrontier”) is pleased to announce that it has been selected for continuation into the second year of the Fukushima Tech Create (FTC) Acceleration Program for FY2026, administered by the Fukushima Innovation Coast Framework Promotion Organization.

Building on the first year’s work developing immersion cooling fluids for AI data centers using nanoparticle generation technology, NanoFrontier will advance into the second year focused on optimizing and scaling up production of nanoparticle-dispersed coolants.

Key Achievements from Year One
NanoFrontier was selected for the FY2025 FTC Acceleration Program under the theme of “Development of High-Efficiency Immersion Cooling Fluids for AI Data Centers,” advancing commercialization in the energy, environment, and recycling sector — one of the priority areas of the Fukushima Innovation Coast Framework. In the first year, NanoFrontier fulfilled all planned milestones as originally scheduled, successfully evolving its nanoparticle technology from the experimental validation stage to mass production, business deployment, and regional implementation.
Key achievements are as follows.

Year Two Initiatives
Through the first year’s efforts, NanoFrontier established a foundational technical proof-of-concept for nanoparticle-dispersed coolants and built a collaborative framework with business partners. In the second year, the company will leverage these achievements to drive optimization and mass production toward the commercialization of the coolant product. Specifically, the following initiatives will be pursued:
-
Optimization of Nanoparticle Formulation: Leveraging the experimental workflow established in Year One to systematically explore optimal conditions for the composition, particle size, and concentration of nanoparticles dispersed in the coolant.
-
Mass Production of Nanoparticle-Infused Coolants: Using the continuous manufacturing equipment developed in Year One to establish a mass production process for the optimized nanoparticle-dispersed coolant.
-
Reliability Evaluation of Coolants: Assessing the long-term stability, durability, and material compatibility of the mass-produced coolants, and establishing quality standards for commercialization.
Comment from the CEO
“I am deeply honored to receive continued selection into the second year of the FTC Acceleration Program, following FY2025. In the first year, we achieved all originally planned milestones — including technical proof-of-concept for nanoparticle dispersion in coolants, securing orders from multiple coolant manufacturers, and developing a continuous mass production system. In the second year, building on these achievements, we will advance the optimization and mass production of nanoparticle-dispersed coolants and accelerate the social implementation of nanotechnology from Fukushima to the world.”
Seiya Inoue, Representative Director
About Fukushima Tech Create (FTC)
Fukushima Tech Create is an acceleration program administered by the Fukushima Innovation Coast Framework Promotion Organization, targeting 15 municipalities in the Hamadori region of Fukushima Prefecture and surrounding areas. The program supports startups pursuing commercialization in the six priority sectors of the Fukushima Innovation Coast Framework — decommissioning, robotics and drones, energy/environment/recycling, agriculture/forestry/fisheries, medical-related industries, and aerospace — through expert mentoring, innovation creation support grants, and opportunities to present at pitch events.
